Frequently Asked Questions

Questions? We have the answers :)

I am not super fit for riding. Is it a problem?

The rides will range from 40 to 80 km, and we’ll divide into two groups based on ability levels. You’ll need to be fit enough to complete the distance, but speed isn’t a priority! These rides are all about networking and meaningful conversations, so both groups will maintain a relaxed, conversational pace.

What bike should I bring?

Gravel :)

How big is the group we will be riding with?

Our group will consist of 11 people in total. On Saturday, we’ll be participating in the Official Gravel Ride from the Giro, a large event with hundreds of riders. We’ll divide into two smaller groups, each led by a ride leader. While we’ll ride together, expect to be surrounded by many other cyclists! On Sunday, we’ll take part in a relaxed 40 km road ride, leading us to the stage finish line, where we’ll celebrate with a group podium photo. This ride will also be divided by ability levels and will include an additional group of around 20 riders. Plus, we’ll have the support of a lead car throughout the ride.

Is Bike Rental available and how much does it cost?

Yes, bike rentals are available, ranging from €35 to €50 per day plus delivery. We can arrange it for you, but please note that this is a high-demand period, and bikes are booking up quickly. Contact Renata as soon as possible to secure your rental.

Is the accommodation option mandatory?

No, but we offer four different options that include accommodation. And one option for the experience only. Since hotels in Asiago are fully booked, we recommend selecting from our suggested options. However, you're free to choose what works best for you!

Which airport should I fly into?

Venice (Marco Polo)

How do I get from Venice to Asiago

We recommend renting a car (approximately €50 per day). The drive to Asiago takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes via the freeway, and the selected hotels all offer parking.

Is there any hidden costs in the experience?

No, everything for the weekend is covered! The full experience includes all meals, drinks, ride support, talent, program led by Renata, ride leaders, entry fees, finish line experience and VIP tickets. If you choose the accommodation package, it will cover your stay from Friday to Sunday.

If you'd like to extend your stay until Monday, you can coordinate directly with your preferred hotel.

The only costs not included are: Flight tickets, Car rental, Bike rental and Travel insurance.

The experience finishes Sunday late afternoon around 5 - 6pm. Dinner for Sunday isn't included.

Do I need travel insurance?

We strongly recommend that each participant has personal coverage in case of any incidents while cycling. This is each individual's responsibility. However, based on our experience with these events, no such incidents have ever occurred. It's purely a precaution, and participation is at each person's own risk.

Can I bring a 'non-rider' friend or my partner/wife/ husband/ kids?

All rooms in the selected accommodation are double occupancy (for two people). B&B Keple, which offers an option for four guests. We encourage full immersion in the experience and networking for all participants. However, if you'd like to add a guest for certain activities, we offer extra tickets at an additional cost for meals and a Finish Line VIP Experience. For more details, please contact Renata at [email protected].

Can I bring a 'rider' friend or partner/wife/husband?

Yes, the selected accommodations offer double rooms, so an additional rider would only need to purchase the Experience Package.
